Our Mission

Dangerous Goods Services, LLC's (DGS) mission is to provide reliable and efficient packaging services to businesses and individuals in the Northwest region. Our goal is to ensure that your products are properly packaged, labeled and documented to meet CFR49, IATA and IMDG regulations.

Our Certifications

Dangerous Goods Services, LLC is certified to ship under all modes of transportation, including IATA, CFR49 & IMDG. We are also certified military packaging experts with years of experience dealing with military contracts. All employees at DGS are currently able to work in various areas, including TSA restricted areas at airports and ports of entry worldwide.

Can DGS help me ship lithium batteries?

Yes. Lithium batteries can be one of the more difficult items to ship, as there are a multitude of variables that can impact how they are packaged/labeled.

Can DGS help my company with our Haz Mat/Dangerous goods logisitics?

Yes. We offer consultation services that can help your company set up a viable dangerous goods packaging and shipping process.

What type of documentation is required to assess my shipment?

Generally speaking, we would need a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for each item you are intending to ship, but some additional documents may be required depending on where and what is being shipped.

Is there a basic pricing structure?

Yes. For most shipments, the first box/UN number is $225 and additional boxes would be +$100 (+$175 for different UN numbers). IMO shipments start at $250. Pricing for military contract work, consultations and jobs that require special packaging (pallets, crates, etc.) are on a per job basis.

Does DGS handle the actual shipping?

We can set up most shipments to ship directly from our facility via the major carriers (FedEx, UPS and DHL Express). There is no additional cost to set the shipments up, provided a valid account number can be provided to bill the shipment as a 3rd party payee. If DGS has to use one of our own accounts, we can upcharge the shipping costs up to 35%.
